This year’s celebrations include an epic piece to open Party in the City: Performed by a 50 strong male choir, Wells Cathedral School brass ensemble, and led by Music Director Nigel Perrin, Thomas Wood’s The Rainbow receives its second ever performance – following the premiere at The Albert Hall in 1951 – and commemorates Dunkirk’s 70th anniversary.
