INTERNATIONAL MUSIC & LITERARY STARS ANNOUNCED FOR THE BATH FESTIVAL 2018
The Bath Festival 11th-27th May is pleased to announce three more exciting events for the city in the 17-day programme – Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ruby Tandoh and A Concert for the People of Bath supported by the Roper Family Trust.
In the Roper Memorial concert the Bath Philharmonia are joined by rising classical music stars Sheku Kanneh-Mason, 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year and Catriona Morison, 2017 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World. The complete Kanneh-Mason family also join the performance – an exceptional musical family who reached the 2015 semi-final of Britain’s got Talent. They all have a special brilliance and vitality which brings classical music alive and engages all ages. These four events are released one month before the final programme launch, where over 180 music and literature events will be unveiled.
