“Whether it be just for an afternoon or for the whole festival, it’s so worth getting involved due to the people you meet and the plethora of talks and workshops you get to see!”

‘I would thoroughly recommend becoming a steward. It is fun, exciting and always entertaining. It has been a real pleasure to work alongside the Bath Festivals team. They are friendly, approachable and really value us in our role as volunteers.’

“I started volunteering with the Bath Festival six years ago. I have leafleted, collected donations, stewarded and even carried out the role of artists liaison. I can honestly say I have enjoyed every minute of it.

I really recommend volunteering with the festival. If you do you will be well supported, meet new friends, see terrific performances and be an important part of one of Bath’s cultural highlights. Go on do it!”

“I love reading and music, so volunteering at Bath Festivals gives me a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear great authors and musicians (my personal favourites have been Howard Jacobson and Tenebrae). It also provides a platform to meet new, like-minded, people in an exciting and vibrant atmosphere.”
