A very happy publication to Deborah Levy, whose memoir The Cost of Living, has been receiving rave reviews. Levy will appear with acclaimed Canadian writer Sheila Heti – a thrilling pairing that you’ll only see here in Bath. BOOK HERE

And congratulations too to Nikesh Shukla, whose novel The One Who Wrote Destiny is also just out. Not only that but, as befits one of our Change Maker lecture stars, Shukla has just been named one of the FutureBook40 – innovators who are changing the shape of the industry in exciting and energising ways. You can see Shukla talk about his work, including The Good Immigrant, The Good Journal and The Good Agency – and you can also see him as part of our Folio Prize event.

And finally – a flute of champagne for Elizabeth Day, author of The Party, this week selected for Richard & Judy’s Book Club. Read what the couple have to say about the novel here [https://blog.whsmith.co.uk/rjsu18-richard-and-judy-introduce-the-party-by-elizabeth-day/], and don’t miss out on seeing Day in conversation with the brilliant Amanda Craig.
