BATH FESTIVALS WELCOMES PROFESSOR TIM SPECTOR

Bath Festivals is thrilled to host Professor Tim Spector OBE, one of the world’s leading scientists and a pioneer in nutrition and gut microbiome research. Tim is the author of bestselling books such as The Diet Myth, Spoon-Fed, and the acclaimed Food for Life: Your Guide to the New Science of Eating Well.

Tim is a Professor of Epidemiology at King’s College London and co-founder of ZOE, the science and nutrition company. Recognised for his impactful work during the pandemic, he has been at the forefront of groundbreaking discussions on health and diet. His research emphasises the importance of gut health, the benefits of eating a variety of plants weekly, and how diet can influence health even more than genetics.

In Food for Life, Tim provides a definitive guide to eating well, featuring 100 recipes created in collaboration with ZOE’s nutritionists. His approach focuses on abundance rather than restriction, helping people make practical, enjoyable food choices to boost energy, longevity, and overall health.

This special event offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the top 100 most-cited scientists in the world. Attendees will gain insights into transforming everyday meals into gut-friendly, health-promoting experiences and receive practical advice for adapting Tim’s science-backed methods in daily life.
