Bestselling psychological thriller writers Claire Douglas and Tim Weaver know a thing or two about building tension and creating unexpected twists and turns – they join Gill McLay to chat about their latest suspenseful books, The Wrong Sister and The Last Goodbye.

Claire Douglas worked as a journalist for fifteen years, but dreamed of being a novelist since the age of seven. She finally got her wish after winning the Marie Claire Debut Novel Award with her first novel. She is now a Sunday Times and international bestseller and her last novel, The Woman Who Lied, spent eleven weeks in the Sunday Times top ten. She has sold nearly two million copies of her books in the UK. Her previous book, The Couple at No. 9, has been optioned for television. She lives in Bath with her husband and two children.

Tim Weaver is the Sunday Times bestselling author of thirteen novels, including No One Home, The Blackbird and The Last Goodbye, and a short story collection. He is also the host and producer of the chart-topping Missing podcast and is currently developing an original TV series with the team behind Line of Duty. A former journalist and magazine editor, he lives near Bath with his wife and daughter.
