After the roaring success of last year’s launch, Bath Introduces opens it’s arms to local musical talents to showcase in renowned Bath venues, on the Main Stage at Finale Weekend and a have a full day recording in Real World Studio.

Bath Introduces 2019 – hosted by Bath Festivals and Moles – cordially invites musicians, singer-songwriters and talented individuals to enter our exciting competition to play on the Main Stage (alongside the likes of Clean Bandit, Van Morrison, Corinne Bailey Rae, Mabel, Hothouse Flowers and more) as part of the Finale Weekend 1st and 2nd of June, on the Bath Recreational Ground in the heart of the city.


Entries will be open from the 3rd April – 11th May (successful candidates will be announced on the 13th May)

  • Artists MUST be unsigned
  • Participants will be shortlisted for the live heat events at three of Bath’s best live venues in front of industry judges in May at Pig and Fiddle, Komedia and Moles
  • Finalists will be selected to play on the Main Stage at the Finale Weekend
  • The winning act will be chosen by our esteemed panel of music industry judges and announced on Sunday
  • The prize of a day recording at Real World Studios will be agreed at a time to suit both parties.



Perhaps you’ve considered yourself to be the next Morrisey or Morrison, Beatles or Bottlemen, Presley or Pink? Well the chance is yours! Bath Introduces is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform and compete against your fellow musicians at The Bath Festival Finale Weekend on the 1st and 2nd of June at The Recreation Ground Bath. This is an exciting endeavour which could land you playing on the Main Stage as well as a full day in the infamous Real World Studios.

Set in the idyllic location of Corsham, Real World Studios is a shining example of the best the industry has to offer; with a cliental roster of Kayne West, Björk, the Vamps, Muse, Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé, King Crimson and Van Morrison himself, Real World Studios is the hall of fame for aspiring musicians, and a regular for big acts. Winning the final heats entitles you to a full day recording with an engineer.
