Join two brilliant children’s book illustrators as they go head to head in a BIG happiness draw off! Steven Lenton is a Bath Children’s Literature Festival regular with his hilarious Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam events, while Rikin Parekh illustrated the 2022 World Book Day title The Worst Class in the World in Danger. Find out what makes Steven and Rikin happy and challenge them to draw your idea of happiness. Playing a computer game on a rollercoaster maybe? Or how about a field full of puppies? A never-ending ice-cream machine? Come along and see Steven and Rikin bring your idea to life before your eyes – and then take a just-for-fun vote on who’s done it best! Hosted by the effervescent Steven Butler whose latest book (Humbug: the Secret Life of a Christmas Elf) is packed full of feel-good cheer!

Steven Lenton has created many books with Tracey Corderoy and also illustrates books by David Baddiel, Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Peter Bently. His books have won awards such as the Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Award and have been selected for the WHSmith Children’s Book of the Year and Tom Fletcher Book Club.
