Iris says “ Hi, this is our blog about Liz Pichon’s event and her books about Tom Gates. We have just come back from the talk at the Forum and we are all buzzing with the excitement and inspired by meeting a real author! Tom Gates is all about a 10 year old boy who has a teenage sister called Delia. It’s an amazing book featuring breath taking illustrations and funny stories all in one little paperback.”
Eve says “What’s up guys? My name is Eve and I’ve been a fan for a while now and if you’re under 80 I recommend you read these awesome books. If you don’t know who Liz Pichon is, have you been living under a rock? Liz is a bubbly talented character. She has inspired me to create my own stories.”
Molly says “Hey, this is Molly and I’m 10 years old. My first thought when I read Tom Gates was that I knew it would succeed in many, great ways. If I had to describe Liz Pichon in a three words I would say she is extremely child friendly. Her presentation was an inspiring speech to explain what it takes to be a great writer (which she is). I know everyone enjoyed her awesome books. WE LOVE LIZ PICHON!!!!!”
Cleo says “Hi, my name is Cleo and I have really enjoyed her books and am very excited to read her latest book. I have personally LOVED all of her books and want to read many more. The Bath Children’s Literature Festival is an amazing time of the year for me and I have absolutely enjoyed her talk and want to read many more of her books.”
Izzy says “Hey, my name is Izzy and I’m 10 years old, and the first thing I would like to say is that I’ve never read Tom Gates books but they sound like amazing books. I’m dyslexic just like Liz Pichon, I used to be annoyed but now I’ve realised that there are many more people in the world like me so that’s one thing Liz Pichon has taught me as well as anything is possible even if you don’t succeed first of all. This is why I love Liz Pichon as a writer and a person.”
