We are going full steam ahead with The Bath Festival Finale Weekend 7 and 8 August! ⭐

Our wonderful CEO Ian Stockley has said: With government restrictions on events being lifted on 19 July and things getting back to normal we cannot wait to get back to the Rec this summer. We’re really looking forward to being out in the  wide green space of Bath Recreation Ground in the centre of a beautiful World Heritage City  with family and friends and enjoying some live music.”

We can’t wait to bring you live music that will appeal to all ages, from the infectious smash hits of chart-toppers McFly to  the New York City vibes of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals. We’ve also got the fantastic UB40 Feat Ali & Astro, Scouting For Girls, Gabrielle and Seth Lakeman not to mention the sunshine vibes of Billy Ocean amongst others. We’re so glad we have such a brilliant team of artists for the festival, that boast an impressive 14 UK Number 1s & 57 Top 10s between them!

It’s clear the artists are raring to perform after so long without events. Huey Morgan of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals speaks to BBC Radio 6 Music presenter about his excitement about playing to the Bath crowd: “My new hometown finally gets my first new hometown show! It’s a party two years in the making and I can’t wait!”

Singer-songwriter Billy Ocean, who has had a string over hits spanning five decades, said: “I can’t wait to come play in Bath, I’ve been really looking forward to coming out and playing live outdoors again. See you all on Sunday August 8 and bring your dancing shoes!”

The festival also love the promote up and coming talent, such as Lauran Hibberd, Josh Gray and Novacub feat ex Bloc Party guitarist Russell Lissack. We’ve also got Dessie Magee with his band, winner of last year’s Bath Introduces competition, Luna LakeHannah Grace and Casey Lowry, and not to forget the wonderful Wiltshire based indie trio Port Erin and grunge influenced Life in Mono.

Bringing the party to a close on the City Stage on Sunday evening will be samba troupe BLOCO B. The expert musicians and dancers have taken part of St Paul Carnival in Bristol, Notting Hill Carnival and the Rio Carnival. Honouring the musical traditions of this amazing music BLOCO B challenge you not to move and be moved.

The whole family will be able to relax at this festival, as there will also be a tempting array of festival food and drink as well as the Kids Zone run by children’s entertainers Super Pirates!  There will be roaming entertainers around the site and the chance to soak up the festival vibe on this beautiful site while parents relax and enjoy the music.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that the event is delivered safely and in consultation with the appropriate local and national agencies, following all government guidelines and legislation to ensure The Bath Festival Finale Weekend is safe for everyone to enjoy!
