Book of the Week – Between Night and Day
Between Night and Day by Sean Julian
An unlikely friendship that crosses between the daytime and the night-time worlds.
Pongo is a safe-in-the-day sort of orangutan, and Bulu is a cosy-at-night sort of bat. When they meet they strike up an unlikely friendship and each gets to see the world from the other’s point of view.
Join Sean Julian for a lively event bursting with fascinating animal facts and a draw-along based on his beautiful picture book Between Night and Day. This session takes place on the 6 October at 10am in Bath Central Library. He explores themes of friendship between those of different backgrounds and encourages looking at the world from another’s point of view, as we see an unlikely friendship blossom between an orangutan and fruit bat which crosses between the daytime and the night-time worlds. This picture book session is ideal for ages 3 to 7 years old.
