The Bath Festival Weekend Finale celebrates the 70th Anniversary of the internationally renowned Bath Festival.  The two-day event takes place on the Bath Recreation Ground in the heart of the world heritage city.

Paloma Faith, Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters, Alison Moyet, Imelda May, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Midge Ure, Seth Lakeman, Freya Ridings, Jade Bird, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Rhys Lewis, Ward Thomas, Poets Corner/Spoken Word stage, Talent Show, Children’s area, artisan food and drink, bandstand stage, eclectic selection of craft stalls and much more…. 

Over the course of the weekend an amazing array of talented musicians, performance artists and artisan food providers will turn the Bath Rec into an open-air party, tailor-made for the whole family. BRIT Award winner Paloma Faith will headline the Saturday night whilst Sunday’s bill is topped by rock legend Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters nearly 50 years on from Led Zeppelin’s history making performance in the city.

Expect delicious artisanal food from local traders. Choices include Nigerian, Italian and Japanese as well as a whole host of British favourites including for example your perfect lunch of roast pork, stuffing and mash served with onion gravy in a giant Yorkshire pudding. In addition to these we have exceptional locally produced burgers, wraps and crepes and an array of other tasty treats. There will also be a vegan food stall serving fast food favourites such as Vegan Cajun Chic’in Burger, Hoisin ‘Duck’ Wrap and Vegan Fish & Chips.

All are independent businesses with a strong environmental conscience meaning they source their products responsibly.  Everyone will be using biodegradable and compostable packaging to serve their food.

The Poets Corner has a stellar line-up of literary talent and spoken word artists selected by Head of Programmes Judith Robinson – highlights include acclaimed children’s author Laura James (Cowboy pug) and renowned Bristol Poet Rebecca Tantony. As well as a Bedtime Story for all ages by Polly Tisdall where you are invited to enjoy some beautiful words and relax before enjoying Paloma Faith and Robert Plant on The Main Stage.

Super Pirates will create a fantastic family friendly Children’s Field with a Rave Cave – for a kiddie disco supercharged with bubbles, giant balloons, fun inflatables, colourful lights, confetti cannons and a Monster Making Den as well as an array of fun inflatables, face painting and games in open spaces.
