Monkton Jazz Band have been playing together for the last few years in venues in and around Bath. They mainly play jazz and funk from Herbie Hancock through to James Brown and John Coltrane.
Signe is a Norwegian singer-songwriter whose wish is to draw the listener into her little world of experiences, observations and emotions. With a characteristic voice, through melodic alternative pop songs, she keeps sharing her stories.
Guillem Mitchel is a Catalan singer-songwriter originally from Barcelona and currently based in Bath, UK. In his songs, vocals and guitar blend in a beautiful musical dialogue influenced by pop, folk and classical music. His intimate style is a mixture of delicacy, passion and musical craft.
Jim Blackmann grew up in Canada, where he learnt folk music. He began by writing novels and poetry before finally turning to song-writing. His style reflects his formative years. His influences
are the Canadian folk singers, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.
CHLOE MERILLA TYGHE
Chloe’s music is evocative, moving & romantic. It draws on the likes of artists such as Bat for Lashes, Lou Rhodes, Jeff Buckley & London Grammar. Chloe has been playing the piano from the age of four and began writing songs in her early teens. Her debut album Cruel Girl, reveals a raw honesty and clearly expresses a love of film music whilst displaying a collection of personal and heartfelt songs.
