As part of our strategic partnership with Bath BID, we would like to collaborate with local businesses to encourage footfall in stores, increase sales and create a festival buzz that will make everyone feel like The Bath Festival is approaching. Here are some of the ways we can work together.

We will soon be launching a dedicated page on our website to promote sales and offers leading up to and during the festival. the-bath-festival/offers will be live early April. We will promote this offers page regularly on our social media channels and in our e-newsletter which goes to over 23k people. In turn, we are asking businesses to use our logo to promote offers on their own marketing channels too, using the standard text: “We are proud to support The Bath Festival which takes place from 11 to 27 May. For more information, visit” To sign up, please complete our online form here: the-bath-festival/upload-offer.

All finale weekend ticket holders (both day tickets and weekend tickets) will receive a BathBID sponsored wristband that will allow them to come and go as they please from the Rec. We would like to offer bespoke discounts and offers to ticket holders with wristbands that will be featured on our dedicated web page.

We would like to offer all businesses the opportunity to create window displays based on a festival theme. The brief is deliberately loose and creativity is encouraged! We will provide all participants with a window decal and we have a limited supply of branded deckchairs which can also be used. Remember that The Bath Festival is a multi-arts festival with words and music at its heart. All window displays will need to be in place by 28 April. Bath BID’s CEO, Allison Herbert, Bath Festivals’ CEO, Ian Stockley and the CEO of Visit Bath, David James, will judge the displays on 4 May and the winning window will recieve an hours use of the hot tub and sauna for six people, including champagne, in Spa 15, No. 15 Great Pulteney’s new spa. All participating stores will receive 4 free tickets to an event or events of their choice up to the value of £25.00 per ticket as a ’thank you’ for taking part.

We have teamed up with Pixie and Trouble Lounge to organise a blogger, vlogger and social media meet-up and trail, visiting retailers in Bath on Saturday 28 April. The team will be set the challenge of creating a photo gallery or video of the day based on a festival theme. They will post their photos of social media during the trail using the hashtag #TheBathFestival and will tag in shops visited. The winner of the best photo gallery or video will win a hamper of products provided by local businesses as well as festival tickets.

We will provide retailers with a marketing toolkit including:
The Bath Festival logo
Bath Festivals’ 70th Anniverary Logo
Official festival photos
A branded window decal
A MailChimp template

If you would like to take part, please email by 6 April specifying how you would like to collaborate with us.
