Frances Ambler is a London-based writer and art historian. She has a special interest in 20th-century design and is the author of Mid-Century Modern: Icons of Design, Brief Lessons in Rule Breaking and Brief Lessons in Creativity in partnership with the TATE. . She has worked with museums and galleries across the globe, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and the Scottish Sculpture Trust.
