About the Event

Along hedgerows, pathways and at the beach, you will find many wild ingredients that can be used to inspire delicious meals. John Wright, forager at River Cottage, shows us what you can find and where and how to identify them.

About the Author

John Wright is a naturalist and one of Great Britain’s leading experts on fungi. His publications include books on how to forage in hedgerows and seashores, on the delights and perils of gathering fungi and mushrooms, and how to make your own booze, all published in the popular River Cottage Handbook series. His most recent books include, The Naming of the Shrew: A Curious History of Latin Names (Bloomsbury, 2014) and A Natural History of the Hedgerow: and ditches, dykes and dry stone walls (Profile, 2016).
