Patti Smith. Queen of Punk Rock. Musician. Artist. Activist. Poet.

In the 70s, Patti became highly influential on the New York punk scene. An artist for over four decades, people are deeply spell-bound by Patti’s creativity and charisma, and Bath Festivals is overjoyed to be inviting her with her band to perform at The Forum, Bath for the first time since 2012.

In 1975, Patti’s first recording, Horses, was inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress in 2010. 13 albums, 4 Grammy nominations, and a Golden Globe nominee for the song Mercy Is from the film Noah; these are just a few of this astonishing woman’s awards, nominations, honours and accolades.

Patti Smith continues to write, perform readings, work on artistic projects, and lends support for human rights issues.
