As a child, Libby Jackson would look up at the sky in search of shooting stars and was always fascinated by space. Now a Human Spaceflight and Microgravity Programme Manager at the UK Space Agency, Libby has worked at the European Space Agency and on the education and outreach programme for Tim Peake’s mission.

In her book ‘A Galaxy of Her Own’, Libby tells fifty stories of women who have been fundamental to the story of humans in space. This book features the likes of Katherine Johnson and Mary Jackson, who’s stories were the centre of the 2016 biographical film Hidden Figures. These extraordinary women show us that the sky is not the limit, and we can all reach for the stars.

This event is perfect for all the family and is sure to inspire trailblazers of all ages!
