For the third year we are delighted to be presenting the annual concert dedicated to the memory of Brian and Margaret Roper; a concert that encourages future generations to develop their love of classical music. This year we have two sensational young soloists play two of the best loved concertos of all time with festival favourites Bath Philharmonia.

Coco Tomita, a pupil of the Menuhin School, blew audiences away with her performances at BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2020. Alexandra Dariescu dazzles audience and critics worldwide with her effortless musicality and captivating stage presence.

In partnership with Jason Thornton and Bath Philharmonia a sparkling evening awaits.

The Steinway concert piano chosen and hired by the Bath Festival for this performance is supplied and maintained by Steinway & Sons, London.

‘ Coco Tomita – still, amazingly, in her teens!. dazzling, dashing off some incredible stops, runs and trills like it were all in a day’s work’ Seen and Heard International

‘I was struck throughout by Dariescu’s beauty of tone, her close attention to detail and the refinement of her playing’ Musicweb International
