Hello my name is Ben. I am 10 years old and I am writing about Bath Children’s Literature Festival for the Paragon School.<\/p>\n

I love reading and my favourite books include the complete Lord Of The Rings<\/em>, The Hobbit<\/em> and the Harry Potter series. I particularly like thrillers and mystery books, especially when there is a young detective such as Young Sherlock Holmes. I am most looking forward to attending Bodyguard<\/em> by Chris Bradford<\/a> because it looks daring. I’ve read some of his books and they are amazingly written because they transport you to the place you are reading about and you just can’t put them down.<\/p>\n

For older children I would recommend The Lost Worlds<\/em> by Andrew Lane<\/a> because his young Holmes books are truly brilliant. Someone usually gets kidnapped and Holmes has to save them but the bad guy is usually watching every thing he does. They are full of suspense!<\/p>\n

For\u00a0 younger children I recommend Pirates Verses Aliens <\/em>by Jonny Duddle<\/a>. My younger brother loves these books – he is usually rolling around on the floor laughing within ten seconds of opening the book! There are great twists to the story.<\/p>\n
