Your Virtual Weekend #8

The Bath Festival 2020 was scheduled to open this weekend. For the next couple of weeks, we planned to be immersing ourselves in live music, author talks and community fun as we celebrated the joy of seeing your favourite performer live or discovering your new favourite writer. Sadly this cannot take place.

However, we will still be sharing pictures, videos, playlists, memories and more during the time that the festival would have happened as a part of our Back Bath Festivals fundraising campaign. While we cannot come together in person, we can still celebrate music and books together from home. This begins on Friday 15 May with the Party in the City Virtual Quiz, a fun family friendly evening of trivia with an introduction by legendary musician Midge Ure. Fancy dress is encouraged!

This is our weekly guide to just a few of the amazing concerts, shows, talks and more that you can enjoy online while staying at home this weekend. To read last week’s edition of Your Virtual Weekend, click here.
