Celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth with Blissful Tales from Shakespeare with Salon: Collective. This wonderful theatre company (patron: Miriam Margoyles) explores Shakespeare’s sonnets expressing the highs and lows of love.

For an unusual and charming take on Virginia Woolf on the 85th anniversary of A Room of One’s Own, homeware designer Caroline Zoob looks at the garden Woolf most loved. One-time custodian of the garden at Monk’s House in Sussex, Zoob’s analysis gives a fascinating insight into Woolf’s life.

Say Happy Birthday, Germaine! with our Great Big Comedy Night celebrating women in comedy, featuring Mary Bourke (star of sell-out Edinburgh show Muffragette), Rachel Parris (from Channel 4’s The IT Crowd), Ellie Taylor (8 out of 10 Cats) and token male headliner Mark Watson (Live at the Apollo).
