Practising mindfulness can help us lead a less stressful, more balanced life – yet, despite understanding this, many of us find it difficult to cultivate and maintain a daily practice. Nigel will talk about why this may be so based on his latest book “Why Can’t I Meditate?

Nigel Wellings is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and author. He has been a Director of Training at the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology and is a teacher on the Bath and Bristol Mindfulness Courses. With Elizabeth McCormick he has published several books including ‘Nothing To Lose, Psychotherapy, Buddhism and Living Life’. His most recent book, ‘Why Can’t I Meditate? How to Get Your Mindfulness on Track’, was published by Piatkus February 2015.
